OUR APPROACH. At MISSING, every stay is intentionally prepared and reserved just for you. Because of this, our cancellation policy is designed to balance flexibility for our guests with the planning required to create each experience and to protect the integrity of that experience for every guest. If something unexpected comes up, we’ll always do our best to help within the guidelines below.
CANCELLATION WINDOWS. If a reservation is canceled 30 days or more before check-in, a full refund will be issued. Cancellations made 15–29 days before check-in qualify for a 50% refund of nightly rate only. Cancellations made 14 days or less before check-in are non-refundable. Including no-shows and early departures.

• Standard credit card authorization policies vary from bank to bank, and can take up to 14 business days to release.
• Cancellation timing is based on the property’s local time and date.

RESCHEDULING. We understand that plans can shift. Requests must be made at least 30 days before arrival and are limited to one-time rescheduling only. New dates are subject to availability and current rates. Any difference in rates will apply. Once a reservation has been rescheduled, it becomes final and non-refundable.
IF SOMETHING COMES UP DURING YOUR STAY. While rare, if something meaningfully impacts your experience, our team will thoughtfully assess the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.In cases where essential services such as power or water interuptions are significantly disrupted due to operational issues and cannot be reasonably restored, we may offer a suitable alternative, credit, or partial adjustment at our discretion.We kindly ask that any concerns be shared during your stay so we have the opportunity to address them in real time.
OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE & NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. MISSING offers an immersive outdoor stay within a natural environment. By booking, guests acknowledge and embrace the unique characteristics that come with this experience.
Conditions such as weather changes, heavy rainfall, naturally occurring flooding, insects, wildlife, natural terrain, temperature fluctuations, and other environmental elements are inherent to the setting or environment and do not constitute service deficiencies. Events caused by natural or external factors including weather-related disruptions, storm-related power outages, or environmental conditions are outside of our control and are not eligible for refunds or compensation.
Additionally, travel disruptions such as flight delays, cancellations, illness, or other personal circumstances affecting arrival are outside of our control and do not qualify for refunds.
NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS. Refunds are generally not provided for the following:
• Weather that does not prevent operations.
• Natural environmental conditions inherent to the experience like temperature, insects, wildlife, or any natural element.
• Travel delays, flight cancellations, transportation issues, or illness preventing travel.
• Changes in personal plans or preferences.
• No-shows or early departures.
• Dissatisfaction with the property's design, aesthetic, or location.
• Government-imposed travel restrictions or force majeure events.
• Unused add-ons (early check-in, late check-out, etc.)
• Reservations made through third-party platforms (subject to their policies)
TRAVEL PROTECTION. MISSING cannot issue refunds for circumstances outside our control and we are not able to make exceptions outside of these terms. We strongly recommend purchasing third-party travel insurance prior to stay for added peace of mind. We are not able to make exceptions outside of these terms.
IMPORTANT NOTES.
Guests are encouraged to review all policies prior to booking. By completing a reservation, guests agree to these terms. Any refunds, credits, or compensation not explicitly outlined above are provided at the sole discretion of MISSING. In the event of a payment dispute, MISSING reserves the right to present this policy and supporting documentation.
AGREEMENT TO TERMS. By booking a stay with MISSING, guests acknowledge that they have reviewed and accepted the terms of this policy, including cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling. This agreement is confirmed through the booking process, including the acceptance checkbox and/or electronic confirmation.
